With six colourful labels, a tribute to Japanese kawaii culture, the series invites you to visit the emblematic districts of these two capitals: Montmartre and Asakusa; Le Marais and Harajuku; Les Champs-Élysées and Ginza. Inspired by postage stamps with their jagged edges, they evoke travel and the correspondence between the two urban cultures. Ichiro’s Malt Chichibu Paris Edition 2025 Montmartre x Asakusa celebrates two districts that are steeped in artistic culture. Montmartre and Asakusa are linked by a cultural history that is both artistic and popular. Ichiro’s Malt Chichibu Paris Edition 2025 is a complex blend of 17 different casks: four new French oak casks; one ex-sherry Spanish oak cask; three ex-Bordeaux red wine French oak casks; one American oak hogshead; six bourbon barrels; and two bourbon barrels that previously held heavily peated whisky. The whiskies making up the blend range in age between 5 and 14 years. Enriched by this decidedly eclectic cask combination, the single malt’s aromatic and flavour profile is built on a malty backbone that helps it stay the course through all conditions. Exceptionally well-balanced, it eagerly explores earthy, fruity, spicy, indulgent and infused territories, each bursting with intensity. Only 2484 individually numbered bottles of Ichiro’s Malt Chichibu Paris Edition 2025 have been released.
