This is a single malt from the Speyside Imperial Distillery, which closed in 1998. It was distilled on 18 December 1989 and matured in Bourbon Barrel #2892 for 27 years. It was bottled on 24 July 2017 by Morrison and MacKay at a cask strength of 43% ABV. Celebration of the Cask is a range of limited-edition releases from all over Scotland. Càrn Mòr literally translates to ‘big pile of rocks’ and is the name of several mountains in the Scottish Highlands. Only 188 bottles of this Imperial 1989 were released by the ‘big pile of rocks’.
