Inchgower 34 Years Old Scotia Royale 1978 is a rare single cask bottling released under the Scotia Royale label. This well-matured single malt has a wonderful old school sherry profile with refined layers of tropical fruit, vanilla, dried fruits, soft spices and a touch of smoke. Just 150 bottles were produced at a cask strength of 53.1%. Scotia Royale was once a blended whisky produced by A. Gillie & Co. The brand was discontinued in the 1980s, and revived in 2012 by Loch Lomond Distillers as an independent bottling label. Scotia Royale was sold just a few years later and the new owners decided to focus on blends again, so only a couple of these single malt bottlings exist.
