Invergordon 52 Years Old Claxton’s Warehouse No. 1 1972 is a rare and old single grain whisky from Invergordon, the only grain whisky distillery in the Scottish Highlands. It was released by independent bottler Claxton’s for the Warehouse No. 1 series. The whisky was distilled on 10 June 1972 and matured for over half a century in a single bourbon barrel. It was bottled in spring 2025 at a cask strength of 40.2%. Invergordon 52 Years Old Claxton’s Warehouse No. 1 1972 reveals wonderful aromas of raisins in syrup, vanilla, oak, pastries and a touch of brandy, followed by vanilla, sweet oak spice and great dessert notes on the palate. One of only 112 bottles.
