For this rare expression, Jameson’s triple distilled whiskey is first matured for 18 years in hand-selected ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks. The married whiskey is then finished for at least 6 months in fresh American oak barrels, creating a unique and complex dram. On the nose, Jameson 18 Years Old Limited Reserve has muted sherry aromas, aromatic oils, a touch of wood, spice and toffee. The palate is wonderfully mellow and smooth with complex flavours of toffee, spice, wood, a gentle sherry nuttiness and vanilla. The finish lingers on wood, spice and sweet toffee.
