Jim Porter was a dusty old Heaven Hill brand of bourbon. Jim was a local legend in the Kentucky area, standing a whopping 7 feet 8 inches tall. Giant Jim owned a few drinking holes and that’s him there on the label in the knee high boots and the spotty waistcoat. You’ll see the rest of the guys in the picture don’t even come up to Jim’s shoulders! We’re not so sure about Jim’s outfit though. Spotty waistcoats are soooo 1820s. Hopefully the bourbon inside is better than Jim’s fashion sense.
