Holy smokes! Karuizawa 19 Years Old Sherry Cask! You don’t see many new releases of Karuizawa these days. Rumor has it that remaining whisky from this closed and fabled Japanese distillery is slowly coming to an end… Maybe that’s why this release was bottled in 2018, but released in 2020, for the International Artist Range #10 by La Maison Du Whisky. Only 313 bottles came out, and they are mostly sold before they even hit the internet. For this release, Warren Kong designed the back label. He is no stranger to designing Karuizawa labels. Other releases in the International Artist #10 Range are Chichibu, Kavalan, Penderyn, Sullivan’s Cove and Amrut, all bottled at 10 years old. This Karuizawa 19 Years Old Artist #10 LMDW Sherry Cask #872 is definitely the most special one in the range.
