The Kavalan distillery was founded in 2005 in Taiwan, making it the country’s first private whisky distillery. Bottled exclusively for La Maison du Whisky, Kavalan 7 Years Old Ex-Bourbon LMDW Antipodes 2015 Cask #B150716058A matured for 7 years in a single ex-bourbon cask before being bottled at a cask strength of 54%. The whisky reveals a wonderful liveliness and freshness. It brings a myriad of fruits, joined by floral, medicinal and spicy notes with hints of vanilla, malt and milk chocolate.
