Kavalan’s Fauna Series consists of three single cask bottlings from the Taiwanese distillery, selected exclusively for the European market. Each label features a bird native to Taiwan, representing the natural beauty found around the distillery. Kavalan 9 Years Old Port Cask Fauna Edition 2011 was distilled on 25 November 2011 and matured in port cask #O111125045A. It was bottled in September 2021 at a cask strength of 58.6%. This enchanting single malt is characterised by a juicy fruitiness, with notes of red fruit, vanilla, exotic fruits, coffee with cream and burnt wood. One of 185 bottles.
