About the Kentucky Owl Dry State
In January 1920, the Eighteenth Amendment came into effect, signifying the start of Prohibition in the United States. To commemorate the 100th anniversary of this pivotal moment in whiskey history, Kentucky Owl has released a limited-edition bourbon called Dry State. This extremely rare blend consists of bourbons aged between 12 and 17 years, making it the brand’s rarest and longest aged expression to date. The Kentucky Owl brand was created by C.M. Dedman in 1879. In 2014, his great-grandson Dixon Dedman revived the brand. The bourbon used for Kentucky Owl whiskey is sourced from a number of undisclosed distilleries. Only 2000 bottles of Kentucky Owl Dry State have been released. Each one is hand-numbered and signed personally by Dixon Dedman. Please note: due to the size of this impressive release, it takes up three spaces in a parcel.
