Kildalton 15 Years Old TWA Whisky Doris 2008 is a limited-edition single malt from an undisclosed Islay distillery, named after the medieval parish where the distillery is located. It has been specially selected and bottled for The Whisky Agency and Whisky Doris. The single malt was distilled in 2008 and matured for 15 years in a refill sherry butt. It was bottled in 2024 at 53.7%. Kildalton 15 Years Old TWA Whisky Doris 2008 is a classic peated Islay dram. Initial aromas of gentle smoke and dried fruits are followed by a bitter and spicy side, with the smoke more reminiscent of a cold campfire. The palate is creamy and elegant with abundant sweetness from dried fruit, enveloped in smoke. Then a maritime and fresh side reveals itself, filling the mouth with complex aromatic development. The finish is long and warming with lingering smoke.
