This 6 year old King Kamehameha bourbon looks like it’s the king of ugly, but in a good way! We love quirky bottles like these. It’s bourbon from Hawaii! Well, sorta, as it was sourced from Heaven Hill in the beginning of this century. To make it even more of a traveled whiskey: it was exported to Japan and now we have it here, in The Netherlands. King Kamehameha was bottled to celebrate King Kamehameha I, also known as Kamehameha the Great (full Hawaiian name: Kalani Paiʻea Wohi o Kaleikini Kealiʻikui Kamehameha o ʻIolani i Kaiwikapu kauʻi Ka Liholiho Kūnuiākea). He was the founder and first ruler of the Kingdom of Hawaii from 1782 – 1819. Please note: this item is shipped without the original box.
