And since Lagavulin is such an icon on Islay, it seems fitting that after 21 years ageing they should bottle up this dram at natural cask strength to celebrate. Lagavulin 21 Years Old Islay Jazz Festival 2019 kicks off with raspberry, lemon, mint and smoke on the nose while flavours of green apple, dark berries, ginger, pepper and chocolate come swinging onto the palate. The finish is long and spicy with orange, peat, oak, coffee and nuts.
