Lagavulin Islay Jazz Festival 2018 is a limited-edition Islay single malt from Lagavulin, bottled specially to celebrate the Islay Jazz Festival 2018. The whisky matured in first-fill American oak barrels, refill American oak hogsheads and European oak puncheons, personally selected by warehouse manager Iain McArthur. It was bottled in 2018 at a natural cask strength of 58.5%. The result is a sweet and smoky dram with notes of vanilla, hazelnuts, grapefruit, almonds, cut grass, floral peat, tobacco, liquorice and clove. One of 6000 bottles.
