Lagg is the new sister distillery of Lochranza (formerly known as Arran). The distillery is located on the south coast of the Isle of Arran. Construction began in 2017 and the first distillation took place in March 2019. While Lochranza mostly produces an unpeated whisky, Lagg will focus on a peated style. Lagg Inaugural Release 2022 Batch 1 is the very first single malt release from this exciting new distillery. The whisky is heavily peated, with a PPM of 50. It matured for 36 months in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels before being bottled in September 2022 at 50%.

Safe packing
