Laphroaig 27 Years Old 1988/1989 is a limited-edition Laphroaig single malt. For this release, mature Laphroaig distilled between October 1988 and November 1989 was selected for a final maturation in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels and refill quarter casks. After a total maturation of 27 years, the whisky was bottled in March 2017 at a cask strength of 41.7%. Laphroaig 27 Years Old 1988/1989 features Laphroaig’s trademark peat smoke, tempered by lime and sea salt. 7542 bottles have been released.
