Loch Lomond is the Official Spirit of the 2020 UK Swing European Tour. To celebrate, the distillery released five exclusive single cask whiskies, one for each of the golf tournament’s five locations. Loch Lomond Exclusive Cask Selection First-Fill Oloroso Butt 2006 #18/550-10 was bottled for the Wales Open and Celtic Classic at the Celtic Manor Resort in Wales. The single malt was distilled in March 2006 and finished in a first-fill Oloroso sherry butt, before being bottled in July 2020 at 52.3%. On the nose, rich peat smoke intermingles with spicy ground ginger and stewed apple. Flavours of sweet maple syrup and zesty orange peel lead to a finish of creamy vanilla and clove. One of 473 bottles.
