Longmorn 24 Years Old Signatory Vintage 1990 is a limited-edition single malt from the Speyside distillery Longmorn, bottled by Signatory Vintage for the Cask Strength Collection. The whisky was distilled on 15 June 1990 and matured in hogshead #8597 for 24 years. It was bottled on 6 March 2015 at a cask strength of 54.8%. The Longmorn distillery was founded in 1893 by John Duff & Company and started production a year later. John Duff bought out his partners in 1897 and built a second distillery called ‘Longmorn Number 2’ (now known as BenRiach). He went bankrupt not long after and James R. Grant, owner of the Glen Grant distillery, acquired the shares. The Longmorn distillery is currently in the ownership of Chivas Brothers (Pernod Ricard). Only 256 bottles of Longmorn 24 Years Old Signatory Vintage 1990 have been released.
