With an outturn of 7440 bottles, this 10 year old Longrow 1995 Tokaji Wood is a pretty special bottle. Tokaji what? WOOD. Tokaji-aszú is a Hungarian wine – also made in Slovenia – that is known for the dried grapes that its made of. Because of the late harvest, the wine is yellow and thick, with sweet, honey-like features. You can only imagine what it does to a whisky… The Longrow 1995 Tokaji Wood finished in Tokaji casks for two years. As it’s bottled in 2005, there are not many of these bottles around. A great pick for sure!
