This peated Longrow single malt was hand-bottled on 19 August 2021 at 58.4%, and made available exclusively at the Springbank distillery. Springbank’s heavily peated malt, first distilled in 1973, is named after the nearby Longrow distillery, which operated between 1824 and 1896. When Longrow closed, the Mitchell family bought the distillery’s buildings. One of Longrow’s surviving warehouses is still used by Springbank as a bottling hall.
