Longrow Red 12 Years Old 52.9% is a peated single malt from the Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown. It is part of the distillery’s Longrow Red series, featuring heavily-peated single malts that matured in unique red wine casks. The whisky initially matured in bourbon casks for 11 years and then spent another year in fresh Pinot Noir casks from New Zealand. It was bottled on 20 August 2015 at a cask strength of 52.9%. Only 9000 bottles were released.
