Macallan 17 Years Old Fine Oak, introduced in 2006, is a unique triple cask matured single malt. The whisky matured in a combination of sherry-seasoned European and American oak, and ex-bourbon American oak casks. The result is a complex whisky with rich notes of tropical fruits, spice and wood smoke. The Speyside distillery Macallan started as a small, illicit farm distillery and grew to be one of the leading brands on the whisky market today. Located on the 485-acre Macallan Estate, it produces the third best-selling malt whisky in the world. In 2018, Macallan opened a brand-new distillery and visitor center on their stunning Easter Elchies Estate.
