Macallan’s popular 18-year-old Sherry Oak expression matured exclusively in selected sherry oak casks from Jerez, Spain. This 2016 release contains whiskies distilled in 1998 and in earlier years. The Speyside distillery Macallan started as a small, illicit farm distillery and grew to be one of the leading brands on the whisky market today. Located on the 485-acre Macallan Estate, it produces the third best-selling malt whisky in the world. In 2018, Macallan opened a brand-new distillery and visitor centre on their stunning Easter Elchies Estate.
