The Macallan distillery was founded in 1824 by local farmer Alexander Reid, and today produces one of the most famous single malts in the world. Selected by Signatory Vintage for its 30th anniversary, this version brings a multitude of lush aromas and flavours. Macallan 25 Years Old Signatory Vintage 30th Anniversary 1993 initially matured in hogsheads, before being finished in a sherry butt for 64 months. On the nose, you’ll find aromas of citrus fruit, vanilla, walnut, wax and incense. Flavours of vanilla, juicy orange, clove and cinnamon lead to a heady and oaky finish.
