Macallan 35 Years Old Celtic Heartlands 1969 is a fine old single malt. It was distilled in 1969 and matured for 35 years in American oak casks, before being bottled in 2004 at 40.3%. Jim McEwan’s Celtic Heartlands is an exclusive series of rare and collectable Scotch whiskies, each personally selected by Jim McEwan. The whisky icon boasts an impressive career spanning over five decades, starting as a trainee cooper at Bowmore at just 15 years old. He went on to become Master Distiller at Bruichladdich, where he introduced a number of innovative expressions such as Octomore. Most recently, he helped design the new Ardnahoe distillery on his homeland of Islay. Macallan 35 Years Old Celtic Heartlands 1969 saw a limited release of just 726 individually numbered bottles.
