Part of a collection of 13 different bottles, this Macallan An Estate, A Community and A Distillery is yet another treasure from the famous Speyside distillery. The Anecdotes of Ages series is a collaboration with artist Peter Blake – yes, the man who made countless album covers you know, because you are a man or woman of culture. His most famous might just be the album cover for Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, which he made in 1967 and which earned him 200 GBP and a lot of praise. 1967 is also the year of the oldest whisky in this magnificent single malt. And did we mention the luxurious case yet in which it comes? It houses the bottle, a certificate detailing the history and heritage on which the art was based, and artwork printed on a scroll.
