The Macallan Estate Reserve was released in the highly regarded 1824 Collection Estate Reserve. It’s a trave retail exclusive that came out in 2009 and it matured in sherry seasoned spanish oak hogsheads, It was bottled at 80 UK proof: a measurement type tat has long been replaced by the curent ABV (80 UK proof is 45.7% ABV).
