This awesome bottle of 8-year-old Medley was bottled for the German market and comes in the original box. We estimate it was bottled in the 1990s or early 2000s. It was John Medley who immigrated to the then not yet United States of America in 1634. He brought a still with him. Six generations later, in the year 1800, it was John VI who started producing whiskey in Kentucky. The Medley distillery was sold to Fleischmann in 1940, but five Medley Brothers opened a new Medley distillery in 1941 . The decades after that, Medley was sold a number of time and today there is no whiskey made under the brand, although a new generation is still consulting in the whiskey nidustry.
