Midleton 27 Years Old Bottled For Amsterdam Airport 1995 is a rare bottling of Midleton Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey, drawn from a single hand-selected cask and bottled exclusively for Amsterdam Airport. The whiskey was distilled in January 1995 and matured for 27 years in first-fill bourbon barrel #994, before being bottled at 49.6%. The Midleton Distillery was built after John Power & Son, John Jameson & Son and the Cork Distilleries Company (which owned the Old Midleton distillery at the time) merged to form the Irish Distillers Group in 1966. Since 1975, all their brands have been made at the new distillery. One of 192 bottles.
