Milton 72 Years Old Gordon & MacPhail Private Collection 1949 is an exceptional single malt from the distillery that today is known as Strathisla. The whisky was distilled in 1949, back when the distillery operated under its old name Milton, and matured for 72 years in a first-fill sherry puncheon. Bottled in 2022, this is the oldest Strathisla ever released, as well as the last-ever single malt from Gordon & MacPhail to carry the Milton name. The single malt has a rich, fruity and full-bodied character that is the result of the distillery’s distinctively shaped small copper stills in combination with the extraordinary maturation. Only 180 bottles of this unique expression have been released. Please note: because of the size of this rare and amazing release, it takes up three spaces in a parcel.
