Mosstowie was a whisky range that was distilled at the Miltonduff distillery in the Speyside region of Scotland. It was produced between 1964 and 1981, but the distillery never released any official bottlings at the time. In the decades after production stopped, a number of independent bottlers have released these rare single malts under their own label, after acquiring Mostowie casks. One of them is the Dutch bottler Van Wees. In 2013, they bottled this vintage 1979 34-year-old malt for their internationally acclaimed ‘The Ultimate’ series. A rare and unique find!
