Mosstowie 35 Years Old The Ultimate 1979 Cask #1356 is a rare single cask bottling of Mosstowie, bottled as part of the Rare Reserve series from The Ultimate. Mosstowie, a lightly peated Speyside single malt, was produced at the Miltonduff distillery between 1964 and 1981 using a pair of specially installed Lomond stills. Mosstowie 35 Years Old The Ultimate 1979 Cask #1356 was distilled on 6 February 1979 and matured in a bourbon barrel for 35 years. It was bottled on 19 September 2014 at 51.8%. Only 173 bottles of this exceptional single malt have been released.
