The up-and-coming Nc’Nean distillery is leading the way when it comes to sustainable distilling. The fully organic distillery, located on the Drimnin Estate on the Morvern Peninsula, was founded in 2017 and released its inaugural single malt in August 2020. The Quiet Rebels series celebrates the people who make Nc’Nean what it is, with each release reflecting the favourite flavours of one of the team members. The first edition of Quiet Rebels has been selected by Annabel Thomas, the distillery’s founder and CEO. This innovative single malt aged in a combination of casks: ex-Tokaji barrels, adding sweetness and a velvety texture; ex-bourbon barrels, bringing notes of coconut, toasted vanilla and tropical fruits to the mix; as well as some STR red wine casks and Pedro Ximénez sherry hogsheads. Nc’Nean Quiet Rebels Annabel was bottled in autumn 2021 at 48.5%. Only 4505 bottles have been released.

Safe packing
