A limited-edition rum from the Jamaican New Yarmouth distillery, released as part of the Colours of Rum range. The rum was distilled in November 1994 and matured in American oak cask #435081 for 26 years, of which 25 were in the tropics. It was bottled in April 2021 at a cask strength of 68.7%. The Colours of Rum is a wide range of premium single cask rum bottlings, created in 2021 by the Polish company Wealth Solutions. The design of each bottle is inspired by the colors of the country’s flag, resulting in a colorful range of rums from, among others, Jamaica, Barbados, and Trinidad. New Yarmouth is a rather mysterious distillery in Jamaica, located in the Clarendon Parish. Not much is known about the distillery, and very few people outside the company have ever been inside. The distillery has both pot and column stills. The majority of its production is used in blends, and individual bottlings are very rare. New Yarmouth has been in the hands of the Italian Campari Group since 2012. Only 256 bottles of New Yarmouth 1994 The Colours Of Rum Edition 1 have been released.
