In 2018, Nikka released a limited edition of their Miyagikyo single malt exclusively for the European market. The whisky has been finished in ex-bourbon barrels, and is bottled at 46%. Nikka Miyagikyo Bourbon Wood Finish has a fresh and fruity nose with aromas of red fruit, sweet butter, marzipan and eucalyptus. The palate has well-balanced layers of red fruit, creamy vanilla, liquorice, lime juice and oriental spices. A delicately flavoured Japanese single malt with a refreshing bourbon influence. Miyagikyo is Nikka’s second distillery, founded in 1969. It is located near Sendai, on Japan’s main island Honshu, and is surrounded by mountains and two crystal clear rivers. This environment provides the perfect climate to produce a soft and mild whisky.

Safe packing
