A rare single cask Coffey grain whisky from Nikka’s Miyagikyo distillery. The distillery has two Coffey stills, which were imported from Scotland in 1963 and produce a more flavorful and complex spirit than modern column stills. The whisky was distilled on 9 November 2000 and matured in barrel #231298 for 11 years. It was bottled on 5 July 2012 at 63% ABV. Nikka’s grain whisky is primarily used as a key component in blends and is very rarely released as a single grain. Please note that the box has been very slightly stained.
