North British 35 Years Old Finn Thomson 1988 Cask #34447 is a rare single cask grain whisky from the North British distillery in Edinburgh. It was bottled by Finn Thomson, who revived his family’s whisky business: an incredible heritage that goes back 300 years and nine generations. The whiskies are being offered from the Thomson family’s private cask collection, resulting in some exceptionally rare and old bottlings. North British 35 Years Old Finn Thomson 1988 Cask #34447 was distilled on 17 June 1988 and matured for 35 years in a hogshead. It was bottled on 11 March 2024 at 52.5%. The result is a magnificent whisky with a cornucopia of sweet tropical fruits, reminiscent of a well-aged Caribbean rum. Only 194 individually numbered bottles have been released.
