A bottle of 13-year-old Old Charter Proprietor’s Reserve bourbon, bottled in the 1990s at 90 proof. Old Charter Proprietor’s Reserve was introduced in 1994 as part of United Distillers’ Bourbon Heritage Collection. United later became spirit giant Diageo. Only three years later, the Old Charter brand was sold to Buffalo Trace who discontinued the release not much later due to dwindling stocks. This bottling of the short-lived Old Charter Proprietor’s Reserve brand is a rare piece of whiskey history.
