Old Fitzgerald 1849 has been a very popular bourbon for decades. It was first produced by the famous, now closed Stitzel-Weller Distillery and more recently by Heaven Hill, who have since discontinued the production. Typically aged for 8 years, this bourbon lost its age statement over the years. As is stated by the distiller, ‘Old Fitzgeralds 1849 is made according to our tradition with a Whisper of Wheat to provide a very distinct, smooth flavor profile’. This bottle has 2004 as bottom-code.
