Exciting, Old Fitzgerald, bottled in the ninetees! We know what you are thinking: is this Stitzel-Weller? The famous Stiltzel-Weller distillery closed in 1992. Old Fitzgerald Prime was aged between 4 and 7 years, so it just might be, as this release was bottled in 1999… But it can also be the the first wheated bourbon from Bernheim, which is incredibly good, as the last master distiller from Stitzel, Ed Foote, was transferred to the brand new Bernheim distillery when Diageo took over in 1992. He knew what he was doing. So is is Stitzel-Weller? Is it Bernheim? Either way, this is really good stuff, you can be sure of that.
