Lost Prophet was distilled in 1991 in Frankfort, Kentucky, at the George T. Stagg Distillery (now Buffalo Trace). It matured in a barrel for 22 years, before being pulled from their barrels in an old Stitzel-Weller Warehouse in Shively (used by Bulleit Bourbon today). The Orphan Barrel Whiskey Distilling Company was created by Diageo in 2014 to locate forgotten barrels of whiskey from around the world. So, here you go, a 22 year old George T. Stagg that is more George T. Stagg than modern BTAC releases, as it was actually distilled in the old GTS Distillery.

Safe packing
