Penderyn 10 Years Old 2010 Artist #10 International is a single malt whisky from the Penderyn Distillery in Wales, bottled for La Maison du Whisky’s first International Artist Range in 2020. It was distilled in 2010 and matured in second-fill bourbon barrel #30/2010 for 10 years, before being bottled at 60.8%. The artwork on the label, named Kor, was created by Eric Robin. Only 211 bottles of Penderyn 10 Years Old 2010 Artist #10 International have been released. Wales has a long history of distilling whisky, starting all the way back in the Middle Ages. Production greatly declined in the nineteenth century due to the rise of the temperance movement, and the last Welsh distillery closed in 1910. In the late 1990s, the practice was revived with the establishment of the Penderyn distillery, the first Welsh whisky distillery in over a hundred years.
