Pescador De Sueños (Spanish for ‘the fisherman of dreams’) is a project from the Santa Sabia Distillery in Mexico. The collection aims to connect the ancestral drink of mezcal to the modern world by sharing folklore while supporting local families and sustainability. Mezcal is a type of spirit mainly produced in Oaxaca, Mexico. Similar to tequila, mezcal is made from the agave plant. While tequila is only made from blue agave, mezcal can be distilled from a range of agave varietals. Pescador De Sueños Mezcal Bicuixe – Tradicional is made with Maguey Bicuixe, a semi-cultivated agave karwinskii plant. It is distilled in copper stills and bottled at 48.4% ABV.
