The 2020 Feis Ile, Islay’s yearly festival, was held from 22nd May 2020 to 30th May 2020 canceled due to COVID-19. Whelp! Enter the 16-year-old Port Charlotte Feis Ile 2020 – Digital Exclusive, which was meant to be sold during the festivities, but in stead ended up as an online release for fans of this Bruichladdich brand. As it was not released as intended, there is no mention of the festival on the bottle, making it an extra special bottling. Distilled in 2003, matured in 6 different parcels of casks:

Parcel One: Refill hogsheads, recasked into first fill bourbon barrels in 2012

Parcel Two: First fill bourbon barrels, recasked into ex-Sauternes casks in 2013

Parcel Three: A complex assemblage of ex-sherry, ex-bourbon and virgin oak casks
