Rosebank 12 Years Old is a rare vintage single malt bottling from the closed Lowland distillery Rosebank, bottled by the Edinburgh-based bottler The Distillers Agency. Rosebank 12 Years Old is a soft, well-balanced whisky with notes of honey, vanilla and ginger. It was bottled in the 1980s and exported for the Italian market. The Rosebank distillery was founded in Falkirk at the end of the 18th century, and changed locations several times in its turbulent history. Rosebank was once one of the most popular Lowland whiskies, but in 1993 the distillery was mothballed, making bottlings of this single malt extremely rare. In 2017 Diageo sold the Rosebank brand to Ian Macleod Distillers, who reopened the distillery in 2022.
