Sanmi-Ittai Kunoichi is a rare blended Japanese whisky from Toa Shuzo Co. (owners of the now-closed Hanyu distillery), bottled by Jack Tar. Sanmi-Ittai is a Japanese translation of the Latin word Trinitas, referring to the three founders of the distillery. The blend was married in a single sherry cask, and bottled in 2022 at 57%. The label shows a female ninja, or kunoichi. The term has become popular in fiction in the past couple of decades, but there isn’t much historical evidence for female ninjas.
