This bottle of 18-year-old Sazerac Rye was bottled in the spring of 2014 for the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection (BTAC), a series of highly-collectible limited releases from the renowned Buffalo Trace distillery. The rye whiskey was distilled in the 1980s and transferred into stainless steel tanks in 2003, to prevent it from aging any further. This way the distillery could release small quantities of the whiskey every year.
