Sennachie 40 Years Old Blended Malt is a unique blended malt produced by the Stuart Whisky Co. Ltd. The blend consists of five Highland and Speyside malts distilled in 1975. They were married together in 1983 and matured in a hogshead at the Springbank distillery, before being bottled in 2016 at a cask strength of 42.9%. Just 185 bottles were drawn from cask #83/254-2. A sennachie is a traditional Gaelic storyteller, whose duty it was to pass along their clan’s history, laws, lineage and traditions from generation to generation. This whisky is a proud tribute to the noble tales of the past and the legendary figures who kept them alive.
