Springbank 21 Years Old 2000 Cask #683 is a rare single cask whisky from Springbank, released as a private bottling. The single malt was distilled in November 2000 and matured for 21 years in a refill bourbon hogshead. It was bottled in May 2022 at 46.8%. Springbank 21 Years Old 2000 Cask #683 is a nicely balanced and rounded single malt, with a classic Springbank character. You’ll find tropical fruits on the nose, along with marzipan, citrus, toffee, cereals, peat and some mineral hints of chalk and wet pebbles. The palate is slightly oily and offers notes of tropical fruits, citrus, vanilla, sea salt, gentle peat and tobacco. The finish is long-lasting with ripe fruits, light peat smoke, salt and cinnamon.
