Springbank 27 Years Old Scoma 1991 is a single cask Springbank, released by German whisky shop Scoma. Bourbon barrel #225 was filled in July 1991. It aged for 27 years and yielded 272 bottles in April 2019. Springbank 27 Years Old Scoma 1991 is a delicious classic Springbank. The nose is complex and mature, revealing aromas of tropical fruits, wild chamomile, subtle smoke, furniture polish and wood spices. The whisky is full-bodied and oily on the palate with yellow fruits, ripe apricot, orange peel, honey sweetness, leather and light smoke, leading to a long, maritime finish with tropical fruits, beeswax, pepper and salt.
